I've just recently converted from a Windows Mobile equipped phone to a Blackberry 8700c. When I received a call on the former, the caller ID displayed the caller's name, job title and company name. The Blackberry only displays the phone number and person's name.

With over 3,500 business contacts, I have got to know more than a name! Blackberry and Cingular were unable to help. I'm hoping someone here can?!?!?!

AFAIK there is no way to adjust the fields displayed in the Caller ID box. I know it might be a pain, but add to the last name for contacts that I need that for ...

IE: John Smith [RIM]

You can add to the last name to expand the display but there is a limit to what you can add.

you would need to check if there are any 3rd party apps that will complete what you are requesting. off the top of my head i am going to say no. however, it has been a while since i have browsed available 3rd party apps.
