I am having issues deleting messages in this version. When I do a battery pull the messages double. Pretty buggy.

My messages folder populated with every FB message I ever sent, going back to mid-09, I had to delete them multiple times and pull the battery a lot.

I would keep at it.

Yep! It makes me crazy! I run a forum and facebook pages for a band so I used to delete the messages and get to them when i got home. When I deleted them this time, I lost all of them! Now I feel bad because I don't know who to respond to! If I knew how, I'd go back to the old facebook app because this just stinks!

@John Clark:

You seem pretty well versed in BB OS and functions. Anyhow, I'm writing to see if there is any possible way to retrieve those messages that were deleted by user error after a change in the Facebook app that was unusual and not expected. I have some very important information that was contained in the messages that were deleted and I need to retrieve that if possible. I have posted a bug report to facebook, in hopes to get some response and a possible way to find that lost data somewhere in their virtual files. Any further info would greatly help. Thanks.
