Is it only me or the battery life is not good, doesn't even last the day for me..

Was with a BB 9700 before, now 2 weeks with the 9810. Love it except for battery life.


Changed the screen brightness and a few things like vibration and still doesn't last... Was looking for the newest OS version but file is temporarily unavailable on BB site...
Any thoughts?

There is some discussion about this in one of the 9810 threads in this section, can't remember which. Check them out.

From my usage, it appears I am getting about 10% less life than with the 9800. Not unexpected since it is a different/faster processor, different OS, different screen and resolution, etc.

I have been using the 9810 for a week now and battery life is similar to a 9800. The battery lasts the entire day with similar usage pattern.

It reached 10% on the first day when usage was higher than normal.

I'm having battery issues. Sometimes it will last most of the day but if I used it frequently it can eat 50% is a couple of hours. I'm going to try it w/out WiFi here at home and see if that helps. I did not have this issue with my old 9800.

Everybody wants faster processor w/HD screens and expect the same battery life as before! Its not going to happen.

I'm getting the same battery life as my 9000. Of course the 9000's battery was three years old. With my normal use, I have to charge the phone every couple days.
