I tried all of that, soft reset, register, service books, blah blah blah. I kept telling her I was told it was an outage and she told me she didn't have any info on that. Eventually she tells me to do a hard reset and I refused. I'm tired of that being the answer. She finally told me she'd call me back. I'm so tired of this crap... and I'm wondering if I need to switch to another phone, or another service... is anyone as tired as I am of this?

blackberry's have data outages. it's not so much a particular carrier (thats why a CSR can be dumbfounded by a data outage) or type of phone, but sometimes its a location (east coast, south, etc).
my question is how you managed to get your GSM 8120 on verizon's CDMA network anyways
