Unhappy Instant Messenger Help

Please Login to Remove!

Ok heres the deal I have BB PEARL with T-Mobile. My problem is that i cant seem to log into any of my Instant messenger account lik AIM, ICQ, yahoo etc. Im using OZ instant messenger but since it wasn't working i downloaded nimbuzz and i still cant loggin. I know that alot of ppl says that i should use jivetalk (or something lik that) because it doesn't waste SMS messages but that doesn't really bother me because i have unlimited any messaging. SO i was wondering if anyone could plz help me resolve my problem. It really bugs me. PLz and thanks u for reals though.

Mine doesn't work unless my firewall is off.

funny... I've been having issues with it for a couple weeks now. Firewall is off too. I logs in, gets to 80% (downloading friends) and just hangs for 5-10min then errors out.
Services books are fine because I have 3 email accounts coming through that work fine day in and day out.

Is there any other solution for the issue, possibly another app?

I hate using the OZ client as it uses SMS versus data service and seems to lag on msg sends. I just started using the AIM service from RIMM and it is great!!

I think you mean this
beejive :: JiveTalk mobile messaging

But it costs $20-$30 - granted it's not a lot but it's not free

Actually just read another forum and this fixed my OZ Msgr issue...

GOTO: options>advanced options>host routing table>
At this point scroll to the number that is bolded and select menu>register now.

Then try to log into oz
