Not necessary. JiveTalk has built-in logging. ("History") and you can email the history to yourself as a file attachment. Much easier.

You can even view History, and then copy+paste large amounts of History much more easily than in the normal chat window which makes it kind of difficult to copy and paste...

i tryed to downlaod the trail version and couldnt seem to get it work it wouldnt let me log in i put my password in everything.

You can even tell it to simply email the chat conversation to yourself.

Please don't leave me hanging in suspense. What error did you get or anything more you can say?

Do you have a BB Data Plan? Do you have your TCP settings entered at Options > Advanced > TCP?

You would be one of the first I have heard having a problem with JiveTalk. My recommendation would be to delete and reload. There could be something simpler, but since you aren't very free with details which might help one of us help you, you may just need to figure it out on your own.
