Default Using two different sim cards from two different countries

Please Login to Remove!

HI all,

Is it possible to use two different simcards from different countries without sacrificing your email settings? Will there be conflict between those two simcards in terms of RIM service? Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks.

Ok. BIS is a bit more difficult, but it's doable. You will have to configure your e-mail accounts with both providers' BIS sites. When you change SIMs, your phone will automatically pull the service books for the new SIM, and it should register with BIS and start working.

Would appreciate your insights on BES also. I assume that both SIMs would have to have Blackberry / data service as paert of their package?

BES is the easiest to move around with. Both SIMs will need to have Enterprise capability though, which usually costs more.

Yes, you will have to set it separately with each providers' BIS page.
