Use a bb 8700 with OS 4.5.0.174, and I have been trying to upload uber twitter on ma phone. After installation it gives this notice about it attempting to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by ur IT policy.
The app doesn't work henceforth from here. Any ideas what I can do to makit work on ma phone.

Keep in mind that the 8700 is pretty old as BBs go. EDGE only and bot that much memory or horsepower. Don't know how well the twitter apps will work on it, if at all.

Yeps good< fixed it already, works just perfectly. Not too old then......

Your big issue with the 8700 is you'll have to decide on the 3 or 4 apps you really, really need. Or maybe 5 or 6 if the apps are smaller. It will be worse if you have OS ver 4.5 installed instead of 4.2.

Find John Clark's sticky post on how to free up memory. You can gain a MB or three by deleting the hidden themes and the stock themes you don't need, for example.
