can't send or recieve messages Email way behind hardly anything at all.
Did not see the post called Verizon spent 35 minutes with the tech. They called rim. rim first said a small fglitch had occured then after I said there are posts on several forums a tier 2 came on said the issue is all networks and the email and messages should be working right before the end of the day. Once again Rim does not just tell the customers or the companies there is an issue and wastes customers time. Sick of the way Rim handles it's outages.

Does BES go through a different network? My BES emails are coming in just fine. None of my BIS accounts are though. Weird.

BES email is via a seperate network that your company owns. this ensures complete security and message delivery. The BIS accts are down for all carriers currently. It is a nationwide outage. No estimated time to resolution posted yet here at ATT BDS

But still through their servers correct? BES does seem delayed though. At least 2-3 minutes. Usually it is almost instantaneous.

Not for me. BES is always instantaneous. BIS with Google nearly so.

My email was down from about 8:30 AM to 10 AM in Nor Cal, vzw. I've noticed a few slight delays since then, but been getting email steadily.

For what it's worth, I'm on BIS / ATT and was down since 8am this morning.

Re-sending service books didn't do the trick for me a few minutes ago, so I deleted the email account from BIS and then re-added it.

I'm now back online...

I am still not receiving anything and can't log onto IM or browse the web. Do I need to do anything like a restart or should it come back on it's own when it does?
