Was just trying to find out info on this myself. I think it sure sucks to have to keey mycingular around when it's not cingular anymore. Plus att is so much shorter to give out to people for my email addy.
My phone service still says Cingular (not AT&T). It's probably just one of those things that will happen in an orderly fashion at some point when other aspects of the old network are folded in to AT&T.
depends on the new Sim Cards. i have a Cingular Sim Card i will have Cingular as my network. If u notice the display phones with the Display Sim Cards (that are ATT) say ATT Network.
email:
try deleting your @mycingular.blackberry.net and re-adding it, maybe it re-adds as att.blac...

I have a Cingular SIM and my 8800 and 7290 both read AT&T as the network.
well if @att.blackberry.net is avaible. All you have to do is log into your webclient account and delete your current mycingular.blackberry.net e-mail address and create a new one.

If your phone is still showing Cingular on screen, call 1-877-768-3814 and ask them to push the update to your phone to show ATT on screen. Takes about 10 minutes.
I spoke with AT&T yesterday and eventually made it to tech support. They were unaware if a migration had taken place. They had me delete the device email address and have a new one assigned. To nobody's surprise, the only option showed up as
Tech support guessed an email would go out to all users once they were ready for a system migration.
