Default Where's the 7200 forum?? :)

Please Login to Remove!

I have a question; I have a 7250 phone with MIKE and I noticed under profile that I can set the max number of rings to only 3. By the time I get my phone out of my pocket and out of my hoslter it has rang its 3 times and I end up missing the call. Since I don't have caller ID nor regular voice mail on my phone (long story) I don't know who calls me.

Is there anyway to in crease the number of rings manually?

Thanks
Andrew

That would be a 7520 model, not 7250

TELUS does not/cannot change the # of rings before going to voicemail (provider feature, not related to phone) on the MIKE (iDEN) network

I just had a look at your site and this PDF. (http://home.comcast.net/~tamsterra/B..._72-71tips.pdf) which doesn't explain how to add more rings to your BB.

Thanks

Did ya read the post prior to yours [quoted below]? It is a setting that needs to be changed on the providers end. I am with Sprint/Nextel and they usually change the setting with no problems, not sure with MIKE.

We should definitely have a 7200 forum still, considering Verizon is still selling the 7250, I wouldn't consider it completely outdated. Also, it would give us 7200 series owners a place to hang out. Come on fellow 7200 users back me up.

I'm with Trevor. I've always wondered about a 7200 forum, but just didn't want to sound too dumb by asking.

I use a 7250 with Verizon. I'm not financially able to update to a 8703e until my contract is up, and I have to think that there are others out there in the same situation.

Plenty of carriers still sell the 7290 (it's a darn tank)...

But the 7200 series has been discussed in the general forum since I been here....

Glad to see I am not the only one, how old is the 7250 if it has been talked about in the general forum since 2005? It's not like there are a ton a bb series numbers, one extra forum branch for the 7200's would help keep the forum organized.

Off topic for a moment, Anyone else think the 7250's styling is better than that of the 8700's. I honestly don't think I would trade my 7250 for a 8703e on verizon right now. The only thing I would improve is the screen resolution on the 7250. It is very sturdy. On the other hand, the 8700's seem cheap to me and have a crappy keyboard imho. viva la 7250!

Cheers! I'm with ya

I've got a 7250 with Bell Mobility.
I've only had it for slightly less than a year.

I've the 7290, but not for long if i can help it. I plan to give up the 7290 for a brand new 8820 when Rogers decides to release it SOON......Until then I'd join up if that's ok!!!

Okay, I am convinced there are still enough 72xx members that we should have a forum just for us. Those of you that agree, vote in the poll:
