The telenav page shows the download link as TeleNav for at&t devices. I changed the "at" at the end of the link to "tm" and it is downloading now.
Oh well, the download started but it gave me a message saying there was incompatible data already on the device, continue with the upgrade? I cliecked yes, it started the download then failed. The AT&T download is still at v4.7.

Just post it. You have to have an account to use it. I will DL and see what is up with it. I am on Cingular so I don't know if it will work or not.

First try through - nice new GUI BUT when I try to enter and address I get a null pointer exception. Possibly my old version did not uninstall completely. Retrying right now.

Stinsondogg . . .great thread, here are a couple of things to add/update.
<http://www.mgmaps.com> has an app called GMaps that uses Google Maps, Yahoo Maps, MSN Virtual Earth and Aks.com Maps. It is free, works on BB's, and they also have versions that work on most Java capable phones. I have just downloaded it and will be trying it. The OTA download link is <http://wap.mgmaps.com>
Cheers
Also, on your website you might want to update the GPS Matrix you have, as the newest version of TeleNav does show where you are on the map at all times, not just when you're approaching a turn (there are 3D and 2D map views).

A. Sorry, I do not have a screenshot utility, nor the time to do that, but
B. I have used the app for about a week and it is not so great.
Similar to Google Maps, but with more limited functionality and the most annoying this is when you're scrolling up/down/left/right it moves a very small amount of screen for every track wheel movement (frustration sets in very rapidly). Coupled with the fact that it installs 2 apps for some reason.
I have gotten frustrated with the whole thing and deleted.
My bad, next time I will give it a go before posting it.
Very disappointing.

Import Address Book, Thunderbird using CSV
I would like some assistance in downloading an Address Book into my Blackberry 8070 please. Using Blackberry Desktop Manager latest version, I configured the Synchonize function with ASCII Importer/Exporter, downloaded my address book from Mozilla, and on hitting Synch it initially seems to read the address book entries on my Blackberry and then after a while I get the following message
"Unable to initialize application API
Verify that correct application version is installed."
My carrier says that they cant help, I have scanned the forums for an answer but apologise I couldn't find the answer here anywhere.
Thanks

Warning Google Maps 1.6
As of this writing, Google removed the GPS function on their software for the 8300 Curve in 1.6.
Anyone know how I can revet back to 1.5.4?
This makes no sense to me...

Without a data plan, you can't use any of the mapping applications.

Closing thread on 11-28-07.
Google Maps 2.0 is out. New BBM is out, and TN has newer versions.
