Unhappy Issue with Over quota

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,

We are using Notes as email program. We set quota on users mailfiles.

Since we upgrade the BES entreprise server, user in overquota on Notes side, are not allowed to send email from the device.

Any idea?
Thank you for your help.

So have user delete some emails or make the quota higher.

users are stubborn, and we have rules to allow an increasing of the quota.

this issue appears since the installation of the version 5 (5.0.1.58)

Since they won't be able to send from the Notes client either, the above sugestions are the only 2 viable ones.

Quotas exist for a reason, usually bad. A proper document retention policy is better.

Your issue is a Lotus Notes one as per below link:
KB14221-Red X error after sending an email message on the BlackBerry smartphone with the error "Unable to write to database because database would exceed its disk quota"

Resolve this in the Lotus Notes side else you may end up like this:
KB19094-BlackBerry Enterprise Server for IBM Lotus Domino crashes when processing a message for user who exceeded the Lotus Domino mail database quota limit.
