Default BB Maps on Sprint 8130 Pearl Issue

Hello everyone, Im new and im not sure if you can help me out here.

I have the 8130 Pearl on Sprint, OS 4.5. I went through 3 other BB forums to see if anyone can help me out.

I am missing the BB Maps shortcut on my main menu. So im wondering if there is anyone here with the file that I need to add that shortcut.

Plus I am missing the net_rim_bb_lbs_ribbon etc...., Is there anyways I can get this file? One last thing, when I go to ADVANCE OPTIONS>MAPS it says DEFAULT SERVICE: NONE. There isn't any other option but NONE.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I do, why? Could that be a problem?

I work for a Prefered Retailer for Sprint so I have the Employee Service Plan with 3000 Mins, Unlimited Text, Data and PTT.

You need the BlackBerry data plan for BBMaps. You could probably use Google Maps fine with your current plan.

So once I get the BlackBerry data plan, would that activate BB Maps? We are given that option of getting the BB data plan, but I didn't know that.

Hmm its weird, I have BB Browser and BB Messenger activated on my phone. Anyways, its okay, I think I'll try Google Maps.

Hows Live Search?
