Great news! Glad to hear the pucks are working again.

How about SureType? Does SureType work in the new TN?

And here I was getting ready to post my no to 5.1.0.29. I'm downloading the new version now. We'll see if it works.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I just downloaded it and used it to get to PHX airport. Worked great with my iBlue. 8700G with ATT 4.2

Model: 8100 TMobile
OS: 4.2.1.101
BT Puck Model: Freedom Mini GPS
TeleNav version: 5.1.0.29
Works or Not: No. However, it works with the workaround of changing the GPS source to internal, save settings, then change back to Bluetooth.

Upgraded to TN 5.1.0.54:
BT Puck Model: Freedom Mini GPS
Works or not: YES. All works normally.

Model: 8100
TeleNav Version: 5.1.0.54
GPS puck: BT-359

I used the Telenav GPS with GlobalSat BT359 puck for the first time. I was travelling to Knoxville, TN from Scranton, PA and returned via NJ and was amazed how accurate the software was. I come from using a standalone on a pocket PC and this by far was better. The routes were accurate, the POI's were great. I even used the traffic feature. The only problem I had was when I stopped to visit a customer and the puck automatically turned off. When I went to start again I had to delete device and add device and reconnect. Anyone have a solution to this without having to delete device over and over again ???

A question for the group, can you explain how I go about looking for a restaurant or gas station while I am travelling to my destination, a temporary stop. Do I have to then redirect the GPS to the home destination after finishing at the restaurant ???

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Bob
