Do you have a data plan? Have you activated thru BES or configured a BIS account? You can configure a BIS account thru your cellular providers website.
I don't know the answer. I am a new user and not an expert (yet) in all these terms. Saving a draft is the best I can do when replying to an e-mail on my BlackBerry.
You do need to figure out if you have a data plan or not. If you don't have an icon for the browser on your BB's main screen, you likely do not have the data plan or it hasn't been provisioned yet.
Some carriers (Nextel) won't sell you a BB without the BB data plan (and oddly enough they don't require you to get a voice plan, in which case you use the device for data only). Others (Verizon) will sell you the BB without the data plan, in which case you use it only as a phone.
What model do you have and who is your service with?
I send and receive e-mails, so does that mean I hvae a data plan?
What is confusing is that I can compose an e-mail and send it with no problem; however, if I am replying to a received e-mail, I do not get the "send" option in the menu.
