Calendar Sync Issue Has Me Baffled...

Okay, so bear with me here; I've searched for a solution to my problem on this and other forums with no luck.
I use BIS for two Exchange addresses and Gmail, and I two-way sync my Outlook calendar, contacts, and tasks with my device. So meetings that were set up through Outlook, either by me or by anyone in my organization, get added to my device when I sync, so now I have the same meeting in both Outlook and on my device.
The problem is upon a subsequent sync, desktop manager (DM) wants to update the request in Outlook with "changes" to the invitee list. However, these aren't changes I made but changes to some part of the invitee list which usually have to do with whether the name is first name/last name or vice versa, and/or whether it has the company name in parenthisis immediately following (i.e. Last Name, First Name (Company). I have to accept these changes because I need the other records to update and DM doesn't allow a user to choose the changes he/she would like to sync. This results in updates made back to Outlook, then the next time updates made back to the device, etc, etc, and everytime I'm dismissing a whole list of reminders in Outlook for past meetings that get affected.
Anyone at all familiar with this issue and have a solution? I'm sure I left out some details that may need to be understood to help with this problem, so if I did please let me know.
