I thougt it was great. I skipped the Keynotes Except for the astronaut, but left when Jeb bush started talking, and the breakout sessions, (did those last year), stayed in the labs and @H2O most of the time, Tuesday was loaud, but the Cingular party was great, and casino night for Verizon was ok, (I have too many Ipods now). and pens and GPS and all kinda toys...you gotta love it.

In time, if he becomes famous enough - it might be worth something...

My co-worker described the Spin Doctors as the "SPENT Doctors." I thought they did okay though.

Reading Freakonomics right now. Really enjoyed Steven Levitt's talk.....

I hung around the Cingular booth Wed. afternoon and was given the last pass for their party at the House of Blues. I had a blast there and the Spin Doctors were surprisingly good and I thought they rocked. It could've been the whiskey and waters I was drinking, but I thought it was more fun than the Hard Rock. Guess it might've was who I was hanging with though.

Hey, can't beat getting a free Bluetooth headset either.

I had read Freakonomics before WES and enjoyed it thoroughly. I was very disappointed about not being able to attend Steven Levitt's keynote as I got stuck in a meeting.

Actually I have been to three WES Experiences So far each year has gotten better. Oh and you can avoid the sessions that have the sales people. There were pleantly of others that covered MDS, debug logs, mapi threads, all that good stuff. The items I got oout about everything is SP1 for 4.1 should be out by the months end and of course SP2...yes SP2 already will be out in September. Release 5.0 is slated for 3Q of 2007 which in the RIM world means 2008 That release will work with Exchange 12....

Brian Stezer was great...and for all who thought he was to loud....you knwo the saying
Spin Doctors - well I paid to see them way back in the day but they were ok for a band. The women dancing up front seemed to have a better time.

I did appreciate the jabra headset Cingular gave away at the party

he was trying to pick her up, ask if she was staying at Motel6, lol, what a loser. I was drunk enough to enjoy the music, and the get togethers aftwards were great, just proves that not all BESAdmins are nerds...

Okay, so I never have joined a dang forum before, but I just had too. WES was wild and yes, I was the one talking to that stupid bass player. He did have the nerve to ask me if I was staying at the Motel 6. I told him the Gaylords and he said thats where they were staying at. I guess they got the hookup that night. Anyway, I hope I don't get addicted to these damn forums. I see the other members of the party are in this forum: Mahal, kerry, you all are nutts! At least I got a drum stick when we left (whoopie damn doo) and no, not chicken. The drummer's stick. What the heck was his name? I never even listened to the Spin Docs unless they happen to be on the radio. I think we really brought on the entertainment at the Cingular party. They needed us **snicker**
