Default BB 9700 and Music

Please Login to Remove!

Hey Everyone,
I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right section, so my apologies if I'm not.

Basically I have a question. Normally I would use LimeWire to download music and transfer it onto my BB. However, I can no longer do this considering how LimeWire is under a court issue injunction. I was wondering if I end up subscribing to some sort of music subscription (Ex: Rhapshady)where I have to purchase the songs, am I still able to transfer them to the BB?!!?! (I transfer the songs by linkin up the BB to my comp as a removable media thing and I dont want to end up subscribing to something and finding out I cant transfer the songs)

Depends if they have DRM on them [protection]. If they do you usually can't transfer them onto anything else.

Take a look at at mp3's on amazon. They play fine on BB's and don't require any subscription.

If you own a CD with songs, copy/rip to MP3 and then to the BB. Other than the amount of data space available on a media card it may offer more options.
