Interesting, I just did mine and was about to post it on the forums then saw this post.
Mine is the black bezel with white trackball, silver buttons.
No one here got the Denim Battery Cover?

Forgive my ignorance but how do you get the messages and calendar entries on the main screen?
Is this an additional theme? If so which one?
thanks

That was my previous bold. My current one has the black buttons as well. I also changed my trackball but to an old one from the days that the balls didn't have the grittiness on them. I love the smooth feel. Besides, the ball is so dirty it almost looks black. Lol.

This looks great but have 2 questions:
1. I have the bold from work, if I do this, will I have to reactivate to sync up with BES, or will everything stay as is once it is put back together?
2. I know everyone says its pretty easy, but I would be willing to pay a few dollars to get it done. Anyone in NYC provide this type of service? Rather not do it on my own.
Thanks!

If you do not do these mesh parts, you will have horrible feedback using the speakerphone. Just hold your hand down by the mic.

aha! I was wondering why that was happening all of a sudden. I'll need to take it apart and fix that. Also forgot the charging tabs and mic rubber grommet thingie. I don't have a cradle so it wasn't apparent to me what those parts where for.
I am actually thinking about going back to the silver bezel. I kinda liked it better.
Also, my battery door is loose now. Didn't have that problem before I tore everything apart.

* Have anyone thought of using the G1 Black Trackball with the black bezel?
* On the CNN website, it shows that it comes with a black mute button. Is that incorrect?
Also, CNN is having 15% off starting 12:00pm 01/23 thru Feb. 9th. So I might wait till tomorrow and place my order!
*EDIT* COUPON CODE NEEDED: YEAROFOX
I just applied code to my cart it accepted and provided discount....I think they meant 12am instead of 12pm but will wait till 12pm just to be safe!

This caused me so many problems. I finally found both mesh and swapped them over.

I used a very thin flat head screw driver to take it off and set it aside. Once I'm done i'll just put it back on.

Bold Replacement Screws
How's it going everyone, I'm new to the forum and to blackberry (came from the iPHONE). I just blacked out my bold and when I was tightening the last screew it broke! It's not that big of a deal, the phone is back together but I am a perfectionist, is there anywhere to order some replacement screws for the Bold? I have found them for every other blackberry phone except the Bold. Thanks in advance.

someone said you could get some screws at like a computer shop (or hobby shop, it was one of those).

I also broke one of the screws off. Had a hell of a time trying to get the broken end out of the bezel!
I searched eBay and found them. I ordered a set of 6 for like $5. They are shipping from Hong Kong.
