Cool Will there be a Bluetooth large screen BB coming.

It kills me that all of the new BB's have these pathetic little screens. How about a device the size of the 7780, with 32 Megs and Bluetooth.

I jumped from the 7230 to the larger-screened 7730 and I love the extra real estate. I didn't care about the bluetooth because, while a bt headset is great, I'm waiting for a fuller implementation of bluetooth before I upgrade again. I want to sync wirelessly and share data wirelessly.

And you shall be waiting for a long time for your BT wireless sync.

Yeah, I expect to be old and grey before I get BT wireless sync. And my SD card expansion slot, and IR support for beaming info, and WiFi integration with the existing radio service.......

I myself am also a fan of the 77xx series I really do like the added screen size and have considered going back to my 7780, I was issued a 7290 but just can't seem to get comfortable with it, smaller and all. The only problem I have with my 7780 is lack of memory and the quad band does help in my area of the city, that aside I really miss the keypad and screen size of my 7780.

Unfortunately I don't see an update to the 77xx series, when it comes to form factor the 72xx series is excellent and with the much needed chipset update for CDMA carriers ie Bell, Verizon, Telus etc. making way for the same form factor with the 7250 model I'd be shocked it there was and further development of the 77xx series as it seems the market is leaning towards the 72xx series more and more. Though a quad band, BT, 32MB+ 77XX series would be great.

Talking 77XX fan

I am a fan of the 77XX series as well. I use the BB primarily as an email machine which is what it does best (although the phone isn't bad) - hence why not develop the format that has the largest screen? Question - is there any prospect of a 77XX with better memory/ coverage/ (and dare I say) bluetooth?

I'm somewhat doubtful, but you never know -- RIM may decide to be a diversified Nokia and release models with various screen sizes, including big screens and small screens.

May take another year or two, though.

RIM has been hiring people with a lot of real diverse skill sets lately. Grabbed an Engineer from my company just last week in fact. You can take a look at www.monster.ca and see the positions they are advertising for - going to be some interesting stuff come out in a year and a bit I think.
