Default Blackberry Curve 8900 Versus Blackberry Bold 9000

Please Login to Remove!

I have tried the Storm and didnt like it, so now faced with a choice of the curve or bold.

So there are some differences on the BB Curve and Blackberry Bold.

Blackberry Bold has 3G, wifi and GPS (i am suspecting the updated OS), 2 megapixel Cam
Blackberry Curve has 3.2 Megpixed Cam, No 3G, Wifi, has from what I can see a better finish.

Are there any pros and cons to these devices apart from the obvious above?

Any users who are pro a particular device?

Thanks.

I had a Bold, switched to an 8900, and am now switching back to a Bold. I used to have an older Curve, so I thought the size of the 8900 would be more to my liking, but I was wrong. I had gotten used to the Bold with its bigger keyboard and keys, plus I found the Bold to have a better build quality. The 3G doesn't really make a difference to me, and since both have WiFi and GPS, that doesn't factor into my decision.

Interesting, they are both very similar and I have found it hard to see what the major advantages are. I think I will go for the bold.

Depends on your needs. I love the UMA features that I had with my 8320 Cuve, and I now have with my 8900. Love the form factor and keyboard.

Definitely try them out in person. A lot of people tend to have a strong preference for one keyboard or another. It's really like any other BB model comparison. Check out the features. For some people size/shape/weight also sways the decision. Factor in your subjective preferences. Test drive, test drive, test drive.
