if it would only:
1. show the dates non-UK
2. show the time of the appt when you get to that day
3. show the rest of the apps as a menu instead of the screen of icons

not too much to ask, is it? I still use it because it is the best of the themes available.

For that, have you tried the BB Dimention Today theme? As tot eh Tome and date, I have no idea if this works, but would the language setting make a diference? Lets say if you have it set to UK English would the date stay as is or change accordingly (just a shot in the dark , I cant try it as I took out all the other language files from mine)?

the only one that does the list on mine is the t-mo zen but it doesn't have the calender/messages/phone log on the home page like the today themes

the language setting doesn't matter - lots of posts around how this cannot be changed.

Which OS do you have? have you updraded to rthe Cingular version and also have you removed the vedor file and replaced the blackberry.alx file? I had those done on my Cinuglar version and I see those plus the O2 and orange and a few more.

I'm using cingy's .69, remembered to delete the vendor file but not update the alx. I never used the other themes anyway so I wasn't worried about it. today plus is the best one out there for me. just those few things. I would like to try my hand at making a theme when they get around to releasing the software for that.

Agreed. But It's still the best we have, so it still makes it the one true theme.
I'd also like 2 versions: one for use with dark backgrounds and one for use with light backgrounds.

I have tried downloading the today plus theme from blackberry following the instructions in this thread. But Orange doesn't let me download as the site doesn't seem to recognise my OS saying that I need more than 3.7. Is there another OTA link? I am hoping that when I get my unlock code this might go away as aluded to on another thread.

The today plus theme would be great if only it separated sms/mms and emails like the white T-Mobile zen theme.

I'm a new BB user and am sorry if this question was already answered but after an hour of searching, I'm still in the dark.

I want to use the "dimension today plus" on my pearl. I'm currently a cingular customer and there was no "theme" area under the "download new themes" options. I also chatted with a cingular rep who said that cingular does not have additional themes for the pearl.

Does anyone using a Cingular pearl know how to get the "dimension today plus" onto my phones themes?

It does seem to hide your individual email account icons by DEFAULT.

There is no way to change the date on the home screen calendar reminders. I guess it's european thing.

You cannot change the home screen Messages, Call Log, & Calendar display, those are there to stay. You can however, change the bottom 5 icons. To do so, just hit the Menu key from the Home Screen...and move the icons you want on the home screen, to the top row. To move them, select the icon you want, hit Menu Key, and select move, just trackball it over to the top, and hit the trackball. Once you are done, hit the Back Key or End Key, to view the Home Screen again, and the bottom will display the 5 icons you had on the top row.

While this is accurate (moving of icons to top row, etc) what I think he's referring to and what I'd like to see is the ability to have the other email folders show up in the top 5 (bottom of display) for some reasonat the main menu, messages, indiv email icons, compose, saved messages and call logs are all grayed out - still accessible but not showing in the 5 at the bottom of the menu. Ideas?

I dunno. www.mobile.blackberry.com from BB
Scroll down to Downloads then click
Scroll down to Free Themes then click
Scroll down to the I Accept then click
Scroll down to Today Plus then click

If you don't see any of that I have no idea what to tell you. Sorry but works fine here.
