I also am having a great time with .314 good and stable for me. Not really noticing any reboots on my part. regarding the media folder, mine has the proper name.

Hey guys, I would not recoment any of the beta 5.0.0.3 releases, the 348 killed my wifes phone.

I'm putting 4.6.0.519 back on my phone I dont want to risk it, I'll just wait for the official 5.0 release.

Kills the wifes phone. Sound like the OS that every bloke needs. Dare I say "sounds like heaven". Trouble is; didn't work for me both the wife and I run .314 without a hitch. If anyone else confirms that I blows the wife or her phone up though I try a reload on hers. Let me know.

I'm running 5.0.0.238 and I can't get my music player to consistently play music. Say I want the play an entire album it will play the first song just fine but then the next song starts playing but I don't hear it. Anyone else having this issue?

Alt-L Alt-G twice. Wow, thanks Alan. It helped me. (Is this an undocumented feature?)

Not quite sure some guy in the AT&T store showed it to me a while back and it always seems to work when I am experiencing performance issues.

I tried this OS on my Rogers 9000 and I had reboot issues. I thought this was only AT&T users having this problem? Other posters have indicated that this is supposed to be the best release so far for 5.0 OS. Any other experiences with Rogers?

I am running v5.0.0.348 for the past few days on my unlocked Rogers 9000 (service on Fido BIS) and had no rebooting or stability issues. I had a problem with .314 when my BBM 5 icon disappeared and was unable to run BBM 5. I tried various tricks and tips offered here but to no avail, hence my upgrade to .348. One other thing I noticed with this upgrade is the enhanced gmail plugin is now running. Not so sure I care for it though...

For my part, I've had no problems at all as far as sending or receiving SMS messages are concerned.

I would say yes. It has been very stable for me. SMS works well, no problems with media files or music playback, and my BBM 5 works well too.

I'd say go for it.

There is no problem in sending and receiving SMS only that the Delivery report is not available in .348 version.

The sms delivery notification (small capital D letter over the Checkmark) that is missing in .348. The checkmark tells you that your SMS is sent and the small D letter notification is that your message is delivered to the recipient phone.

If your carrier controls delivery confirmation or disable it entirely (according to some posts in the forum) then you wouldn't notice it is missing in .348 or any other previuos versions.

I subscribe to 3 different carriers all provide SMS Delivery Notification. For some people it matters and important to know messages are delivered to the other end or the receiving phone is off for some reasons, out of coverage area etc.

I think pokey is with Rogers in Canada and I am with Fido, also in Canada. I'm not sure if Rogers/Fido supports that particular SMS delivery confirmation feature or not. Hopefully someone can chime in on that for us.

For my part, I don't ever recall seeing that with Fido.

Previously I had 4.6.167, 4.6.292 and now 5.0.314. I've had 314 for 2 weeks now and overall it's the best OS that I used on my Bold.

167 & 292 both did the job and for the most part I was happy with them. I LOVE 314 because it's very snappy which enables me to complete tasks much faster in comparison to 167 & 292. Now, I'm gonna try to do my best and give pros and cons for the new 314......

PROS
1. Very snappy
2. Threaded SMS
3. Improved battery life (around 15-20% better...for me at least)
4. Application memory only drops around 5-10mb per day (167 & 292 dropped 20mb plus sometimes
5. Very quick start-up time (60-90 seconds)
6. I have 12 or so apps and after reset my Application Memory is around 40mb. Memory goes to 30mb after a whole day of usage, which is real good for me. At times it actually fluctuates, for example if app memory is 32mb sometimes it jumps to 34mb. Kinda weird but in a good way

CONS
1. QuickPull 3.5.4 not compatible, but 3.6.0 works fine
2. Experiencing battery loss after QuickPull. For example, battery goes from 50 to 35% after reset. (not a big deal since there's very little need for reset on 314 anyways)
3. Blackberry App World, the application, just disappears from my Home screen for no reason
4. Just recently, calls started to get dropped. I also noticed that when I'm talkin' on the phone line goes static at time as well. Not sure, maybe it's area coverage, but I never had this problem on 167 or 292...So far this is my biggest concern with 314.

This is what I have so far, sorry for loooooong post, but I just had to get it off my chest. Thx all.

I agree, I am using .238 and I love it. Same comments as above.

Con:
1. When receiving a picture from BBM it has to upload first and takes quite a while to upload.
2. Will not delete SMS messages using the "Delete Prior" option.
3. Still only able to use the "W" key for browser, Media Net only

Other than that I love the OS 5.0
