I have a 7100t. As far as I know T-Mobile doesn't support Hotmail. So I've been searchnig the net for free alternative to getting Hotmail to my BlackBerry. (This one works!!)

Here's what I came with...

First, find a web-based email provider that has the capability of accessing Hotmail. I'm using a placed called www.cashette.com. The account is free, although I'm not sure about the reliability of this provider; I do know that it works.

Once the account is set up, go to your BlackBerry Web Client. For T-Mobile customers the link is: https://webclient.blackberry.net/Web...w.jsp?site=tmo

Add your newly created email account to the BWC.

There are a few things you need to know. The biggest one, is that this client deletes your Hotmail messages from your Hotmail account when it imports them to your Cashette account. This probelm my be remedied by an option I just overlooked, please let me know.

Also, Cashette sweeps you Hotmail account every 30 minutes. I'm not sure how often BlackBerry's Web Client searches for new emails. Anyway, the point is there is a small lag time. Around 35 minutes or so. But hey, IT'S FREE.

For Australian Blackberry users using the Telstra network:
The Webclient (BIS) also allows you to add your Hotmail e-mail address too.

Log in to https://webclient.ap.blackberry.net/...p?site=telstra
Or create a new account [you will need the IMEI + PIN of the Blackberry]

Click the Profile Link => click the other email accounts => click Add Account button.
Add
Email Address: [Your hotmail address]
User Name: [Your hotmail address]
Password: [your Hotmail password]
Re-enter Password: [your Hotmail password]

You may see a check box for - Leave messages on mail server [thats up to you]
[you may have to complete setup and then go into e-mail accounts and select the Hotmail account before you see this.]
