Not sure if this has been asked before......


We are employing some secure email software as a POC and we have been asked to set the blackberries on one BES to only send message in plain text.

Is this possible?

If so, how do I set this

According to THIS older thread, an IT Policy can restrict users from receiving html email, keeping them in plain text mode only. These folks were still restricted by old IT Policies even after they left the BES that put these policies on their BlackBerrys. Perhaps an Admin professional would have more specifics to offer, beyond my simple "use an IT Policy".

The BES passes Email back through the Email server. Perhaps your Email server can be set to only send as plain text as well.
