I just used the sip.actionvoip.com setting and I did not have a problem with the app not resolving. In fact, the status become IDLE. I do not have an actionvoip account. I am hoping that the developer(s) can include my US based business VOIP provider which provides a direct IP address versus a domain name.

There will be an update for the beta tomorrow.

We carried over SIP short header support so some carriers previously not work now work now.

For people who use CallCentric, BlackVoib will work now.

Yes. IP address or name. Default SIP port 5060 is assumed if no port is provide. To use a different port (some services do). Specify the domain like CallCentric.com:5080

BTW CallCentric uses port 5080.

I have 3 SIP providers just at home for calls to different international destinations. Hence, will you be adding the ability if future to save all SIP providers data.

Would be even better if it asked over which SIP provider you wished to route the call...

i was having problems closing the app. The only way i could shut it down was battery pull. I got my callcentric setup but could not make calls. It said NR idle. I am assuming that the beta release tomamrow will fix this
Thanks

You should have REG IDLE. CallCentric uses short form SIP headers which the current version does not support. The one we are going to release tomorrow will support short form SIP headers.

We do not publish the jar files, only the cod files. If you download the jad file from the BlackBerry browser, it will install correctly.

We just updated BlackVoib.

It now supports short form SIP headers.

Is the jad still supposed to report version .5?

Did this update address the "ip address cannot be resolved" error?

when I attempt to download it advises the version is 0.5 opposed to .051. I did download and it appears in my applications as version 0.5 and the IP resolution problem remains. Maybe, the correct version 0.51 is not downloading?

Default username detail incorrect

Hi

I have loaded the v0.5 beta, and added all the details.

when i select save, i can see it attempting to login to my asterisk server, except it is not using my username and password entered on the setting, it is using a sip:aviator168@xxxxx account detail....

any ideas?

Great job thus far!
