Can anyone tell me if PI has a weather app, sports scores, etc that BBtoday and / or pocket day have? Sorry if it seems like a nieve question, Ive searched the forms and I'm trying to figure out the differences between BBtoday, pocketday, and now the new PI...
From the PI website it seems that it only has the new calendar, contacts, journal, etc but not the weather, scores, news, etc.
if this is true would you recommend getting PI with BBtoday or with pocketday?
(while I'm at it, could someone lay out the differences between BBtoday and pocketday?)
Thanks!

You sir are correct! In the original beta thread, one poster said that PI and pocketday would/should complement each other quite nicely.

Apparently I need 10 posts before I can post a link, so give me a little bit and I'll try to get my posts up.

This is a great program and according to their site they are looking to do ota syncs with outlook for people not on a BES. That would be awesome.

I am the one that said that and I do exactly that, I use PocketDay for Sports, weather, stocks, Rss etc. and PI for everything calendar, task and contact related, works for me.

Exactly. I do the same thing. They compliment each other nicely.
Although, the calendering etc in PD becomes obsolete.
It would be great if the two developers got together and agreed to interact the programs like PD does now with the BB calendar/tasks/contacts (in the new PD you can choose to use the BB programs when you click on calendar/task in PD, instead of the PD ones). To click on calendar in PD and have it take you to PI would be great. Now I simply use a PD shortcut key.

I actually proposed that as well and Alex from WebIS along with many other beta testers were against "linking" two applications, I had compared it to the HTML email from Empower within PD. Anyway, I am sure PI has many more things coming so that is why they wanted to keep their options open.
