Sweet, looking forward to this.

A little off topic, I just wonder if Rambler will be better on battery life on a 7250 than IM+ is for me. With the regular battery, from 7:30 to 4:00PM it went from full charge to wireless off. Extended battery is on the way from SmartPhoneDepot, and hopefully it can take all of my internet surfing and IMing.

Default Wow.....

I have read this entire thread and after all the reading(and nodding off) I have come to a simple realization:

Ramble, Thank you.

I know you are working on the new 'updated' version that will work without MDS for all of us NEXTEL Black Berry FREAKS.

I know I speak for all (or most) of us here, when I say, "Thanks."

I'm working hard to get it tested and debugged. Hopefully I'll post an update soon.

Default While waiting with bated breath . . .

For those of us who are waiting, can anyone post screenshots of what this looks like? Can you see who is on line and who is not?
Thanks

I think it was discussed that you need to use your destop client to add groups. So if you do not yet have a buddy list, then you need to start one using the desktop client.

My ramble app can't log me in. I can definitely connect to http://toc.oscar.aol.com:1290 from the corp network on my desktop. I am not quite sure that this necessarily means I can connect via BES (I don't know the corp architecture where the BES sits etc...). So it seems firewall is not my issue. WHy then can't I log in?

Well, here's the good news:

The new version of the software _looks_ great I've included color-coded conversations & chats, volume control on alerts, color icons in the buddy list, and lots of other fixes.

The bad news is that for those of you who are operating without MDS, there are some significant differences in the code required to maintain your network connections. I've been working all day trying to meet my 'next week' deadline, but I wasn't able to tackle all the changes necessary today. I haven't stopped working on it, but it looks like I'm going to fall prey to the all-too-common software release date slip.

Thanks to everyone for their patience, I'm working on it!

I had a whole 'novel' typed out, I didn't want you to spend the time to read it though. So here it is short and simple.

You have it, I need it.
Thank you for making it and I look forward to using it.

Thanks Rambler.

Is that once-a-day limit for the "where is it" posts firm?

Myself and at least one other person are having this problem along with you. Mine started sometime before 10am EST today but could just as easily have been last night. I didn't get the browser until just now though. Hopefully it's a network issue and not a permanent change.
