Red face How do i change "My Number" displayed on my BB 8530 CDMA ?

Please Login to Remove!

Very recently i bought a blackberry 8530 from sprint, as it was a new account it came with a number attached to it. As soon as i received it i called Sprint and had the number changed to an old number i have that friends family know.
My problem is this... Now when i make a call my displayed number shows the original Sprint number, but i would like it to show the new number.
Is there a way to change "My Number" displayed to another number?
Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

i have, and yes, i can find the one for the 9530 as well, but it is not the same string of numbers. ##000000 doesnt workon Sprint, nor Curve 8530.

I would call Sprint and ask them for the answer. As they move you up the support chain someone will know.

As much as we hate to do it, a call to the carrier is sometimes the best option. Hope they help.
