This may be related and already covered but I'm the proud owner of a new 8830 World Edition (Verizon). Can I use the new 4GB micro SD High Capacity Memory Card, micro SDHC Card with SD Card Adapter? I think Sandisk is one manufacturer. I just want as much memory has possible. Thanks.

Yup -- just don't try to insert it with the SD card adapter into your BB...

RIM supports up to 2GB which I use but many 8830 users on this site are using 4GB with no problems.

well samsungs working on an 8 gig version and the 8820 suports upto 32gb mcro SD cards

When I saw the circulation of this 4GB microSD SanDisk cards sold in BULK PACKAGING, I contacted the Product Manager in regards to this as to why there are Retail Packaging and Bulk Packaging circulating on the web. So finally, just this afternoon, SanDisk confirmed that they DO NOT SELL Bulk Packaging. Hence, the ones that are being sold that is not in Retail Packaging is counterfeit.
