Default 8800 e-mail account no longer accessible

Please Login to Remove!

After about 6 weeks of working fine, I got an e-mail from "donotreply@blackberry.com" that stated "this e-mail account is no longer accessible by your Blackberry device. this issue is likely caused by a recent change to the password used to access this account. To resume receiving e-mail from this address, login to your Blackberry Internet Service account and verify the password is correct for this email account.

First, there was no change to the password of my account.

Second, I have no idea what my "blackberry internet service account" is.

Third, I went back in to the Personal Email Set Up icon, it asked me for my user name and password. I figured out what my user name was and clicked on "forgot password." After I entered my username, it stated the password would be sent to my device. After doing this about a billion times, I still have yet to get my password from my device. Frankly once I get it I have no idea what to do with it anyway. PLEASE HELP.

You need to call AT&T to verify that your BIS account has not been removed for some reason. Mistakes do happen.

Default Yea That Sucks

Yea I got the same message twice from my job e-mail. you just have to go to att.com i guess and edit the e-mail address. just put the same information in there again and that should take care of that issue. I have the same issue with t-mobile.
