Default For you people with SYNC issues...

Please Login to Remove!

Do yourself a favor and just use the new google SYNC for blackberry.

You can use it to sync your calendar and contacts. Your better off.

Well I'm just saying lol. I didn't like the last version of Google Maps but they really did the trick with the new one. And SYNC is an outstanding move FORWARD where most companies have been moving back.

Well it could be your signal? SYNC works fine for me and sync's my updates immediately when connection is alive.

Yeah i use Google Calendar and Docs as well, they are lifesavers and now with SYNC you can work on your contacts while not even being on your phone. Which is awesome.

Delete the Application then download it OTA (over the air), and it should work with no problems. if anything i noticed it asks you two questions in the beginning along the lines of "is it ok to use google maps because they can see where you are" (GPS functionality) and the second one allowing it access/privileges which you should allow. Google Maps is better.

I was using it but I did a bunch of calendar entries on my 8330, and every so often the device would pause and say "updating calendar". Later, when I tried to manually sync with my Google account, I got the message that I was syncing with more than one device and the new information would not be added. Sure enough, a small portion of my entries were added, but the latter ones were not, and it would not sync up again. This is the second time I've had an issue with syncing with Google, so I've given up and am back to syncing with Outlook on my laptop.
