Default Do I change my Blackberry? What to?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I've been using an 8700g on t-mobile uk for past 18 months. My contract has just expired. I'm contemplating switching to a MDA Vario III running WM6
but I am very wary. My last experience with WM about 3 years ago was not good.
I'm wondering if anybody has used one of these devices after using a Blackberry for some time?
I have Exchange server so I need push email/calendar, are there any other good options I should look at?
I'd like camera, full qwerty keyboard, wifi and preferably 3g too! Not much I here you ask

Thanks for any help!
D

Hmmm.....you know asking that kind of question here is unlikely to get you a neutral answer.

I'm actually a fair person when it comes to this kind of thing. Yes I love BlackBerry, but we have clients that run both systems, I've been working with BES products for four years and I'm also MCTS certified in Windows Mobile and Exchange Direct Push....so of the people on here I would hope to be in the neutral (if that's possible) catagory!!

The problem is that WM is still a nightmare OS. In terms of navigation 6 is really no different to 5. If I had to go with a Windows Mobile device then it would be the HTC Dual Touch though. You get a thumb board (although it's ABC and not qwerty), you get a touch screen keyboard (which is always tiny on WM devices) and you get the HTC touch cube interface as a front end for WM which does make things a little easier.

At the end of the day though BlackBerry makes life easy....what can I say!

Do you know, you were spot on! The quirkiness of the WM6 device and its inability to operate as you would expect a phone to do, drove me to purchase an 8320 Curve. However I could not get one on my present network so I am now awaiting for it to be unlocked my gsmphonesource!
Wish me luck
