Question Blocked Caller ID

Please Login to Remove!

When I make a phone call my caller ID is being blocked on all of my calls (on the receiving end). I've contacted Sprint and they went into my profile and filled out my caller ID information (3 days ago). I haven't placed a caller ID block on my phone and Sprint's information reflects this. Is it possible that my phone could have been "spoofed?" I even had Sprint change my phone number and still the caller ID is being blocked and showing "Private Number and/or Restricted ID." This is a major inconvenience because most people will not answer "Private Number/Restricted ID.

Ok.... Backup and start over. Go phone > options > general options > restrict my identity...... What is the setting? Are you saying that is _not_ set to always?

Try changing your Restrict My Identity option.

1. In the Home screen, click the Phone icon.
2. Click the trackwheel and select Options. The Phone Options screen appears.
3. Select General Options. The General Options screen appears, featuring the Restrict My Identity field.

In General Options the setting for "Restrict My Identity" was set to always, I reset it to never. Will this solve the problem?
