Should download and install just fine OTA.
I have 3.1 installed, and installed 4b2 fantastically.

Well I'm currently downgrading to o2 right now just to download this new opera beta.

I installed beta 2 over beta 1 and no problems. I did have to reboot it twice instead of once. My bookmarks showed up.

I really like this new beta, the look at the smallest size is comparable to a browser on my pc. The menu system has a better look anf feel similar to other bb apps. Nice job by opera mini!

i couldn't get landscape to work on my 8800. but, since my screen is already wide, i don't see a point to landscape.

The progarm is a bit different than anything I have ever seen. I am impressed so far. I am going to see if I can get it to work with blackboard

I am really feelin' this version. I tried the Beta 1 and the bugs in it made me remove it the same day. This is a much smoother version and I love it.

Seems like they actually listened to the feedback. So much of what made b1 almost unusable has been fixed.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

The program also works much better with blackboard.com than previous versions.

Mini always was a great little app IMHO. Now the BB specific menus make it even better. Well done Opera.

I had B1 on my 7130c and it was.. Ok.

I got my Curve yesterday and have B2 on it... what a difference.

Amazing application. It will have a home on my Blackberry for a long long time.

Be careful changing the font size with the fit to width checked. It will make it impossible to read if you go to the small size. It is so bad you can't even see it well enough to fix it back! Had to uninstall and reload to get back to where I could see anything!

I didn't like fit to width. I have mine set with fit to width and full screen off. This way I can see the whole page and just zoom in on sections of interest. Also, I have text set to small.

Very very nice improvement over the last version, particularly when browsing forums. Highlighted or boxed text is now shown correctly.

So far excellent....

Default Installed it last night

Installed last night. It runs great, and the improvements are very good. A little upset that landscape is not supported on Blackberry. Any idea when it will go live?

Default Opera Mini BETA 2!...?

Hallelujah. Today my prayers have been answered for a cookie-working-full-html-landscape-mode-enabled-safari-esque Blackberry Browser (Don't get too exited--It's not from RIM)?! Or have they...?
After the suprisingly long time it took me to install I decided to test its new features:

1. Cookies!- YES! After the big let down that was the first release of Opera Mini 4, the people over at opera made magic by somehow not making me have to enter my password over and over and over again when on a website such as Facebook....?

2.Create your own Websearch- Although a strange little option it actually proved quite useful and ended up working rather well and proved quite useful.

3. Landscape- Landscape.... c'mon..... LANDSCAPE... NO! After several frustrating attempts to make my Opera Mini on my Pearl turn to landscape mode by pressing "#*"... I decided to search the web until.....
"(Note that this feature is yet not supported on BlackBerry and some other devices.)"
AHA! damn..... well.... maybe next time

Well Heres a screenshot of the new features... including the small print that it may not work on blackberries... damn

Well, I guess ill have to be hitting up jesus again, cause as of right now im confined to the boring-humdrum Vertical webrowsing.

ps. If you got it to work... TELL ME!
