My music is on my SD card under Blackberry\music, organized by artist\album\song.

How do I get this media player to load all my songs and shuffle through them?
Hi,
In the mediaPlayer screen you will find some icons at the bottom. In this icons select the leftmost icon which will launch the file explorer . Just navigate to the folder where you have all the music and lanch the menu from the options select play all media -> which will load all the songs from the current folder to the mediaplayer.

Hi,
If you provide the pls file link itself to the mediaPlayer radio. It will parse the playlist and play the first station alone( File1=http://212.23.5.99:8004).

You can directly provide any of the links like
http://208.122.59.30:7608

to play the station directly.

Thank you. I think you'd find a good market for a separate radio function.

It doesn't seem to search down that far. When I point it to "music" it complains. I suppose it is because my structure is music\artist\album\song. Can it not look down more that 1 level?

Just downloaded this today and have it working. One question about building playlists - how do you see the full name of the mp3? My file names are in this format: 01 - Artist - Album Name - Song Name. However, these often go off the side of the screen on my 8130; anyway to scroll the filename so I can see the name of the song? I didn't see anything in the settings. Thanks.

I tried doing that with a pls file I saved from winamp, it fit as described - except when I imported it, I tried to play it and I received 'File does not exist' error. It did not show the ip address with http:// in front of it, just numbers.

Am I doing something wrong?

Can you provide us the link so that we can test it and tell whats the problem? Did you try playing the pls file from winamp and are you sure that the links do stream only in mp3 or aac formats?

Add the pls link to mediaPlayer radio station other than adding it to the playlist that will solve your problem.

I decided to give this player another shot.
When I tried to download OTA though, I got the following screen when I clicked on the icon:

Capture17_33_21.jpg

When I try to use the zip, cod & alx files, I get nowhere as well, my DM saying that no other app was found.
Anyone have any ideas?
