Have you been able to figure out how to Auto-Standby?

Would be sweet to have the phone go into standby, that way you just click the mute button to turn the phone back on.

thanks

I'm looking into making it suspend instead of lock, but I haven't had much time lately to work on it. It's definitely something I'm trying to do, though.

Default 7250 supported by AutoLock?

I have installed the JAD on my 7250 and selected "Run" when it finished, but I am not seeing "AutoLock" in my Options list. Any advice? Thanks!

you might try pulling the battery and restarting your device.

Thanks. I tried that earlier, but still not working.

Oh well. I guess I am just going to have to go with the password way of locking my BB (I keep my BB in my pocket, so the holster lock is not an option.)

I don't have a blackberry other than the 8100, so I don't know if I can help. I'll see what I can do with the simulators. There shouldn't be any Run option, or icon to run it.

Right, it is my understanding the the AutoLock option should show up in the Options list, however for me, that is not the case. Thanks for checking this out for me!

So will this app work on anything else than a Pearl??
I have a Verizon 8703e and would like something like this too.

@metsfan:

I don't know if this is AutoLock, but thought I'd ask since you know the innards of this process. It might just be a weird bug with the OS (.064).

- let the backlight turn off
- autolock kicks in ~45secs later
- send an email from desktop to my device at the @tmo.blackberry.net address

The LED does *not* start blinking. However, if I do nothing more than press the * key to wake up the display, the LED starts blinking normally like it supposed to. The LED blinking seems to work fine for SMS. I just tested it to my @yahoo.com email (also pushed via BIS) and it also exhibits the same behaviour. Am I going crazy here? I swear this used to work...

I had a chance to do more scientific approach, and whatever I did it's now working properly. I had uninstalled AuoLock and rebooted, did two forms of timed tests (worked great), reinstalled Autolock and rebooted, and now the LED flashes like it's supposed to be doing.

So uhm... disregard previous post, my Pearl was hittin the crack pipe.

Did you download the application to your phone? It doesn't come with this OS. It is a 3rd party application. If you downloaded it already then go to Options and look for "Autolock" and enable it and set the times as appropriate.

Did you remove the battery after loading?
