So much for May but that is no surprise. Besides, people aren't buying much right now anyway.

I wouldn't put much into that. I've found that Verizon corp reps aren't as in the know as AT&T Corp reps. My verizon rep couldn't tell me the release date until 2 days before the release. These forums had more information than he did.

Did you watch the end? It said very clearly that "BlackBerry Magic is not the actual name of the product"...

I'm hoping this is just the VZW corporate reps not hoping to hold back sales. I really would love to see this drop in May in time for my upgrade, or else I may lose my mind with my 8830 for another waiting game with VZW.

I agree with your pdutta, Our Verizon Rep just gave me BS every time I asked, and he said "where did u get these dates and information" , where when I asked my ATT reps, all were on time, or at least knew what was going on.

Then again, Verizon's Customer support is alot better than ATT's haha!

It's one or the other i guess.. hahaha

Exclamation Still May '09

I will stand by the May '09 launch date.

Here is a full review of the 9630.

Nope, nothing really solid yet. Until someone comes along and has known facts and proof of it I don't think we'll known.

Hey Mark... this review was posted on the 24th, and in the review BGR said "In its complete buggy state probably more than 3-4 months away from release, this is going to be the big seller on Verizon when it launches."

3-4 months from now would put the release in June or July... right?

I mean... I hope it's May, but I'm not sure how else to interpret BGR unless he simply wrote that review 2 months ago and only published it now ;)

Me too michael... and I hope to be there first again when the 9630, or whatever it will be called, hits. Though I do wish vzw would change their model and allow wifi some day. I know, keep dreaming.

As far as I am concerned this really isn't an upgrade from the 83xx or 88xx unless it comes with the Bold's 624 processor or greater
