How do I remove the Blackberry Maps software from my Blackberry Storm?

(Incidentally there appears to be some conflict between Maps and Youtube, in that Youtube works fine so long as I have not used Maps since I last turned the device on. However, if I have used Maps, then when I try to play something on Youtube, it normally freezes the whole system - and the only way out is to remove the battery and start again.)
