The next time you launch it, that will be the last time you see it. (Same with Opera Mini), just beware enabling the Firewall may interfere with other applications.

Let us know if it works.
Thanks, that worked, I haven't noticed if it interferes with other applications, I'll keep an eye on that.

Has anyone been successful in installing this program?

I got it installed quickly & easily and what I've seen of it is great but a couple things: the trackball is difficult to move around, the igoogle page won't load right & it shut down a couple times. What's the prob here???

So far it's a decent program, I'm probably going to keep Opera Mini for the Download files function as I did before.

I am sure the program will get better with updates.

I tried opening a PM I got on this forum from within BOLT and it threw an error message but let me continue like normal, anyone else have that?

I tried this with my Storm. The speed was great. When I tried to move the cursor, the page moved and the cursor did not.

The rendering was excellent.

When this is ready for the Storm, it will be HOT!

Love the rendering and speed that it loads pages. The 8330's processor seems a bit too weak for it though. It lags while typing in url's, etc. It seriously needs page down and page up keys - it takes forever to scroll though a page even using the 3-line-at-a-time scroll.

I Definitely do agree about the processor in the 8330, the program does a bit.

As far a page up and down you should be able to use the "2", "4", "6", "8" keys to move around like Opera Mini. Granted a key to jump to the bottom of the page would be great to have.

Love rendering of pages quickly, but wish the trackball was as smooth as OEM browser.
Wish it had more of the OEM browser options in the menu, ie. copy link/send link etc

Tried it for a few hours. The jittery mouse movement was too much for me to deal with. Other features seemed interesting though. If they can smooth out the cursor movement, it might be a winner.

Install went well.
Finnaly got a chance to install it, busy over the weekend.

Quick observation:

Pro
Great rendering
Key Pad navigation

Con
Slow trackball navigation

Overall i like the BOLT browser..

yea the slow scrolling is the only downer I can see.

The video on CB.com showed the mouse pointer moving pretty fast, maybe this is a limitation on the slower processor of the current BB models?

When I use those keys, it only moves the page a few lines at a time, not a page at a time. Even though it renders pages faster than Opera Mini, OM is still faster for me because if the way I can navigate through pages.

I keep getting "Internet not available. Check network services."

How do I set up an internet access point (I'm on T-mo with an 8100)? Apparently you can't use the WAP gateway.
