Default Bolt Browser Public Beta Test

Please Login to Remove!

I read on CrackBerry about the public beta test of the new Bolt Browser. I signed up for and received an invite to test it. Unfortunately, the one-time installation failed. It said the program was too large, or something like that. I have > 23 MB available.

Now, since it was a one-time link, I can't re-install it. I am requesting another invite.

Has anyone been successful in installing this program?

I have successfully installed the Bolt Browser, and it is quite good.

Did you select the unsigned installation? If not, try that on the next go around.

Anyone posting or find the install file elsewhere? I keep getting a "forbidden" server error when trying to sign up...

It would be nice if someone manage to test if the right page adress is not showned after the one-shot page .

There is usually not so much company that are hidding proprely the link of their beta even if they try to do so!

Yes, I tried the unsigned build. I haven't heard back from them yet about my request for another invite.

So, how does it compare to Opera Mini?

I find it extremely faster than Opera, its loaded everything quick! I think I'll be using this from now on and works really good with it just getting out of the gate.

blackberrycool said something about them upgrading their site? So it could be down at the moment but they give another invite coupon you can try with signing up for the beta.

Signed up at the site and the links it gave me said they'd already been initialized. So signed up again and it sent me a new set of links.

Installed the unsigned version and it's up and running no problem. It's a heck of a lot faster than the BB browser. I don't use Opera so can't compare it to that one. So far so good.

No BIS support? Maybe that is why my installation failed.
