Get the OTA (.jad) version... download them "Over The Air".

Wirelessly posted

As an option to phonejunkie's suggestion you could use a progr
am called OTA Downloader. This program will download all the necessary files OTA files (jad and cod's) to your PC, where you can then copy them to your media card and install from there. This is a great option that I do all the time; this way you always have a back up copy of your program handy should something go wrong on your BB.

You need a BB data plan to do that however.

Default email yourself the links

I google apps I want and then send myself an email with the URL of the OTA (over-the-air) verison embedded.

I get the email on the phone (as well as in my yahoo or gmail account) and just click the URL to the OTA of the app;)

App World is only a fraction of the actual apps out there. It's better to google stuff, like: "Top 25 bb app you must have!"
