I work for Verizon and I think its BS that the GPS is disabled.

My district rep was in my store today so I asked him when to expect this. He said VZ Nav will be available for the Q next week, but the Blackberry's won't be getting it till probably 4th quarter this year.

Here's a question. What are you going to do with VZNavigator if you travel outside the US and need GPS? VZNavigator is an AGPS system... I seriously doubt other worldwide networks are going to work with it on the GPRS side of things.
