Default New Email host

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings members,

I have a client that we recently migrated their web and email host to a new provider. Now the Blackberry Curve 8330 will not receive emails from the email account. I don't use a Blackberry and I don't have the phone in front of me, so I was hoping to get a little blind guidance regarding the email account configuration.
Is there a way to view and modify the pop and smtp settings of an account?

A read of the FAQ is probably in order?

Thanks Dubdub,

I think that BlackBerry can't determine my host settings for some reason. so I think I need to manually enter the SMTP and POP addresses and Ports. I didn't see anything in that FAQ that was like advanced settings or what have you.

Yep. If the auto doesn't work, then you need the incoming server and perhaps the port if it isn't standard. Don't need the outgoing since it goes from the carrier and/or RIM.
