Default QuickPull v2 (BETA) Question

Please Login to Remove!

My dad recently downloaded the new QuickPull application on his 8220. He also has AutoStandby on his phone as well. The thing that has been giving him problems is the integration of the new QuickPull app with the AutoStandby app. He has already ensured that all permissions are allowed on both applications, and still, nothing. Below is a link to the app in case you need to see any further details:
QuickPull v2 (BETA) - Personal Productivity BlackBerry Apps - Crackberry BlackBerry Software Store)
Thank you in advance.

May want to try removing or stopping the AutoStandby.

I installed the new version of Quickpull and my scheduled resets have been working nicely.

Yes, but the two apps are supposed to work together. I assume that autostandby will let quickpull do its thing.

Mmm... Now that version is what I've waited for. Works on my 8100 Pearl like a charm!

Quickpull won't let me set the permissions (or it doesn't like the permissions I'm allowed to set). I'm on BES....is this a problem I have to ask my tech guys about?

I've recently been experiencing an issue where, when I click Yes to initiate a QuickPull, the screen just disappears, and I have to perform the task again. Sometimes I have to do this 5, 10 times, but it doesn't always result in a pull.

Have anyone else dealt with this?

I have mine set to go off in the middle of the night. Seems to work every time no problems. I even use it to instead of pulling the battery. I find it very useful and have no problems.

dumb question but how often is ideal for one to schedule the resetting of the phone using QuickPull?

The only dumb question is the one not asked. As far as your question, I don't know, but I have mine to reset nightly as I sleep. So when I wake up to face the day, so does my BB.

I noticed with the update of quickpull there is the word steelthorn. I have been very hesitant to select it because I don't know what it is.

On my 8330 I get an Uncaught Exception when I try to do a reset.

I just tried a scheduled reset and it worked just fine. Strange.
