And, yes, both do include English.

But you aren't trying to SYNC, you are attempting an upgrade.

Without details of what you actually did, the best we can say is to follow the instructions in the first post of this thread exactly as posted, and in the exact order.

I'm new to BB.
My current 8310 is now 4.2.2 with BES and I'm thinking about upgrading to 4.5-4.6.
What I want to know is, is it safe to upgrade?
I mean, is upgrading like wiping the handheld? All the data and BES activation.
Is upgrading to the new OS makes me need to do the enterprise activation again to get connected to the BB server?

Why is my blackberry every so often asking me to renew my locking password? It has only happened with this new OS.

I just downloaded the Rogers version of 4.5 for my 8310 on AT&T. I also removed my vendor.xml file. When I installed the Rogers 4.5 update, it ended up being located in the Apploader folder. When I start DM (4.7) I don't receive any udate notices. I try to use the App Loader and it doesn't find the new OS. I even browsed to where the OS was located and it still says nothing to update. Am I missing a step here? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Mike
