Hi guys,

Can anyone please tell me whether there is a way to make free i-net calls with the BlackBerry?

I know Skype has restricted Blackberry from making use of its services. Are there any other options?

you can purchase IM+ from shape services, which allows you to access Skype from a blackberry

But not SkypeOut as far as I know.

we are currently on trial with "Vopium", its not free but it can save a whole bunch of roaming costs easily...

you can call anybody in your phone book via IM+. It is a bit clunky, since it is not full duplex. It is almost like nextel direct connect, where you have to press a button to talk and release to listen, but it can work over wifi. on 3g, it doesn't work quite as well. It is not an ideal solution, but it works in a pinch.
