I recently upgraded to OS 4.5 on my 8130 and this morning I noticed that when you hold down the volume buttons the tracks change. Volume up = next track. Volume down = previous track. Cool! Is this a feature of 4.5 or was this something I was missing out on in 4.3?

Thumbs up I really like 4.5

I wonder what other "Easter Eggs" are hidden in this gem of an OS?

Oh, man!! Thanks for sharing... I had always wished they had some shortcut keys for advancing the tracks. I've 4.5 and will start using this feature right away. Very handy-dandy on my bicycle ride to work...

Yeah, any other hidden features?

I have a Curve, but I was wondering: if the volume keys control next/previous track, what controls the volume?

You need to hold the buttons down for a second for it to actually switch the tracks

LOL I happened to find this cool feature out just a couple days ago. I thought for sure it was just something I had overlooked in the past and didn't post it because I was sure to get razzed for not reading about it before. Guess I was wrong!

I've always used the 4 and 6 keys to skip between tracks. They also work in this release.

And so did I... However, when the phone was in standby mode you had to hit a key to take it out of standby and then hit the 4 or 6 key to change the tracks. When using the side buttons, you just press and hold. This also works when your Berry is asleep in a case or belt clip. There is no need to remove the phone to change tracks.

Man that's really cool. Does anybody know of anything similar for the Curve? Did a quick search on it and couldn't come across anything. Right now, it only seems that I can adjust the volume when the phone is in standby. It'd be nice if I could change tracks while in standby mode.
