I just purchased a Blackberry 8330 Curve ... one of these days I would like
to get something... install it and have it work... no problems... but alas that
is not today..

I "finally" installed the Blackberry Device Manager after reading through the
posts and having to do it manually...

now my issue...

I select DEVICE SWITCH WIZARD, then SWITCH FROM ANOTHER DEVICE TO A BLACKBERRY DEVICE, select NEXT... now here is the issue... my palm pilot is not highlited so I can select it...

I made sure the palm pilot is installed... I made sure it is on... nothing... nada...

all help is appreciated!!

The Device Switch Wizard in DM v4.5 does have the (apparent) ability to import data from other devices (including Palm) and the BlackBerry.

See attached...

Roxanna - sorry, I have never used this feature. I am not sure what the problem might be.

Roxanna - sorry, I have never used this feature. I am not sure what the problem might be.

I dealt with this yesterday! I took the new Blackberry 8330 and my Palm Treo to a Verizon store. The Sync'd the Treo with a Palm phone, then sync'd the Palm phone with my Blackberry. It worked. Now I just have to figure out how to sync it with Outlook, but that's a different problem.

I have Alltel... wonder if they can do that for me... this is WAYYYYY
to much trouble to go through just for this phone...

You could always go to another phone that you would have to transfer the contacts one at a time to.

Do you have any software for your Treo that you could sync it with outlook, and then sync outlook with your BB?
